I've purchased a few parts off of him, he's a great person to talk with. His Z isn't street legal I don't believe. Last I heard he blew his engine and was waiting for a custom built engine to be completed. I don't know what the current status is but he's sent me some emails with pretty interesting photos of what his Z has gone through. He stripped the cars entire wiring harnesses out and only wired back what he needed to run the car. He's gone with the extreme weight loss program. He's a member here, I don't recall what his screen name is.
